What LimeLight is

LimeLight turns a song and artwork into a music video. Rendering happens in your browser on your own computer. Your audio, images and footage are never uploaded to our servers to make a video.

Your account

You need an account only to buy a plan and to keep it. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 to create one.

Plans and payment

The free plan is free for as long as you like. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled at any time from your account page. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for; we do not refund partial periods. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change with notice before your next renewal.

One-off purchases

A release pass is a single payment that lets you export one song at the Creator plan's finish — 1080p, every format, no watermark. It sits on your account until you use it, is spent when that export finishes (not when a render starts, so a failed render costs you nothing), and does not expire. A lifetime seat, when we offer one, is a single payment for the named plan's features for as long as LimeLight is offered; it does not renew and is not transferable. Neither is refundable once used; an unused pass can be refunded within 14 days of purchase — write to us.

Your content, your video

You keep every right to the music, artwork, footage and words you bring, and you own the videos you export. You confirm that you have the right to use what you bring — a video of someone else's song is your responsibility, not ours. Paid plans include commercial use of your exports.

Acceptable use

Do not use LimeLight to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attack the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

We work hard to keep LimeLight fast and available, but it is provided as is. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and, for paying customers, by email before it takes effect.
