Questions
Do my files get uploaded?
No. The song and the artwork stay in your browser and the video renders on your own computer. Two exceptions, both optional and both said at the button: transcribing lyrics on paid plans sends the audio to a speech service, and posting from the Social tab keeps a signed, expiring copy of the finished video for the few minutes the platforms take to fetch it. Posting straight to YouTube or Facebook with your own login takes the file from your browser.
Does it work with songs made in Suno or Udio?
Yes. Any MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A works, and the song's own tags fill in the title, artist, album and cover when the file carries them.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Free exports carry a small LimeLight watermark. Creator covers your own releases; Studio covers work for clients and labels.
How long does a render take?
About forty seconds for a three-minute song on a recent computer, at 720p or 1080p — the video encoder sets the pace, so the two are close; 4K takes longer. Nothing queues, so it never waits on anyone else's render.
Which formats can I export?
16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, and square — MP4 with stereo AAC audio at 30 or 60 fps — plus a silent 8-second Spotify Canvas and a looping motion cover, or the whole release pack in one click.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open the studio in Chrome or Edge on a computer. A phone can preview looks, but exporting needs a desktop browser's video encoder.
What is a release pass?
A single $4 payment that lets you export one song at the Creator plan's finish — 1080p, every format, no watermark — with no subscription. It sits on your account until you use it and is spent when that export finishes, never when a render starts. In the export dialog tick “Use a release pass”.
Why is my export 720p with a mark on it?
That is the free plan: unlimited exports, every look, 720p, a small LimeLight mark in a corner. 1080p and no mark are on Creator ($10 a month) or a $4 release pass for one song; 4K is on Studio.
The drop is in the wrong place — can I fix it?
Yes. On the transport under the picture, drag the drop chip (or a section word) and the section starts where you put it, snapped to the beat. Double-click it to change its word or the scene it becomes. “Sections edited · reset” puts the analysis back.
Why does the picture change on its own?
The song's sections edit the picture: quiet parts pull in, the drop opens up, the ground changes between sections. Motion › “Directed by the song” sets how much; the Shows go further and give every section its own scene.
Can I use my own font, logo or photos?
Yes — Media › Your font (.ttf, .otf, .woff2) is the face for the title and lyrics; Media › Logo puts your mark in a corner, under the artwork or along the bottom, with its size, strength and when it shows; Background photos make a slideshow that changes on the beat; footage plays behind the cover and cuts on the beat.
Does anything ever leave my browser?
Two things, both optional and both said at the button: transcribing lyrics on a paid plan sends the audio to a speech service, and posting from the Social tab (when it is switched on) uploads the finished video to the platform you picked. Nothing else — not the song, not the artwork.
How do I cancel or get an invoice?
Your account page opens Stripe's customer portal: cancel at the end of the period, change the card, download every invoice. Nothing is charged after you cancel.
It says my browser can't export.
Exporting uses the browser's video encoder, which Chrome and Edge have on a computer. Firefox and Safari can preview looks but cannot write the MP4; phones cannot either. Open the same link on a desktop Chrome or Edge.
My cover's words are cut off.
Pick a rectangular frame (Card, Rounded) to show the whole picture, or in a round frame choose Frame › Show the whole cover. The square-in-the-ring keeps the picture whole with only the corner tips softened.
Can I make one video for a whole album?
Yes — Album on the rail. Drop the folder: one project per song sharing the cover (or each song's own picture named like the song). Render a video per song as numbered files, or one show with crossfades and a tracklist.
